About the Tripp Lite by Eaton BC600RNC
Features | 600VA/300W/120V Battery Backup for PCs and Retail Point-of-Sale Applications
The BC600RNC standby UPS system provides reliable battery backup and AC power protection against blackouts, brownouts, overvoltages, surges and line noise for home/office computing, networking and point-of-sale equipment in retail, kiosks, food service and light industrial environments. It's easy to set up in minutes. Just plug the BC600RNC into a properly grounded wall outlet, press the power button and connect equipment to the UPS outlets. For easy access, the input power cable, Ethernet port, AC outlets, power button and status LEDs are all on the same side.
Easy-to-Use Cloud-Enabled Remote Monitoring Powered by Brightlayer
Eaton's cloud-based remote monitoring dashboard offers convenient setup, control and management of a single UPS or a larger deployment. Receive alerts, push configurations, silence alarms or control outlet banks using a mobile app (scan the QR code on the UPS to download it) or web browser. Being able to monitor and access an army of UPS systems from a remote location helps reduce the number of site visits, saving you time and money. The unit's NFC (Near-Field Communication) area lets you transfer custom network settings instantly from your mobile device.
Allows Time to Back Up Critical Files During a Blackout
During short blackouts and brownouts, the BC600RNC switches to battery power to keep connected equipment running. This allows you enough time to save data and complete a safe shutdown in case of a longer outage. Incoming utility power keeps the user-replaceable VRLA battery fully charged, so backup power is always available. The BC600RNC restarts automatically once power is restored, regardless of battery charge level, saving you a costly site visit.
Premium Protection from Surges and Line Noise Helps Your Equipment Perform Better
Rated for 190 joules of surge suppression, the BC600RNC and its four NEMA 5-15R outlets protect connected devices from the harmful effects of power surges. The BC600RNC also filters out disruptive electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) that can destroy data and contribute to lengthy downtime.
Easy Preventative Maintenance and Initial Troubleshooting
The BC600RNC's self-test capability and user-replaceable internal battery can extend the life of the UPS and minimize disruption to operations. A resettable circuit breaker helps prevent dangerous system overloads.
Audible Alarm and Diagnostic LEDs Keep You Informed 24/7
An audible alarm and a red LED indicate a low battery or fault condition. A green LED indicates power and line/battery mode status.
Hardened Housing Compatible with Versatile Deployment Options
The low-profile housing allows use in locations with uncontrolled temperature or humidity (operating temperature range: 32° to 122° F / 0° to 50° C). The BC600RNC's small size is suitable for desktop or floor placement. Secure mounting points on the bottom enable horizontal or vertical mounting and are spaced in a 100 x 100 mm VESA pattern for mounting to the back of a monitor with the included hardware. Attachment points allow installation on a shelf or beam with user-supplied cable ties. The five-foot power cord with NEMA 5-15P plug connects to any compatible AC outlet.
