Juan Saldarriaga
President
COLAMCO, Inc. was founded in 1982 by Juan Saldarriaga when he recognized there was a better way for businesses to research and procure computer products. At the time, most customers would thumb through stacks of catalogs to determine what was best for their projects. Juan believed that customers needed guidance when making decisions about what products to buy. His idea was a simple one, leverage a consultative sales approach and use the typical product catalog as a compliment to the go to market strategy. Customers embraced this approach and have afforded COLAMCO the opportunity to serve its clients for 33 years. In that time, the way COLAMCO engages with its customers has remained, however the typical paper catalogs have been replaced with dynamic digital versions. This critical shift to digital has also allowed COLAMCO to increase its scope beyond computer peripherals and accessories to a full line of Information Technology Products including, Servers, Client Computing and Managed Services.
